A supermassive black hole is the largest type of black hole in outerspace. The one which was discovered by Adlyka and her team is situated 38 million light years away from the Milky Way, where our solar system is situated.
Adlyka is currently pursuing her PhD in Durham University, focusing on finding supermassive black holes that are surrounded by thick clouds of gas and dust. She is happy to be able to represent Malaysia at the international platform and we're sure all Malaysians are happy for her too.
